Typ89 track
Is there anyone in a position to measure and tell me the length of a typ89 wishbone? ie from inner pivot axis to outer balljoint, and/or the distance between the wishbone pivot axis in the front subframe? I need to work out the distance from balljoint to ball joint with the wishbones level..
I'm fitting typ89 front legs to my typ85 and need to work out how much to shorten my wishbones..

What type of typ89 legs are you fitting as there is two types, one with the hub as part of the leg and the other has the hub bolted to the leg, also there are two types of ball joint 2 bolt or 3 bolt.
Silly question why you fitting typ89 lower arms |

As stated use type 85 wishbones.. IIRC the type 89 wishbones are same fitment and length as type 85, some are cast some are pressed.

I'm not fitting typ 89 lower arms. I'm making completely new tubular wishbones
Its the wishbone length of the typ89 cars with seperate hub carriers, I suspect they're all the same length at approx 315mm regardless.. but I want to double check, but I just don't have access to a typ89 right now... One reason for the swap is that I've swapped from the 1.6 to the 2.8 V6 and am retaining the 2.8 running gear and 288mm brakes..
