After a Audi Cabriolet 1.8 5v! - Page 10

My mates 1.8 had them on as an option. He also had a 2.6 on boleros. Can't confirm if the boleros were fitted after sale. But he believes the 1.8 had them from factory. Had a lot of other extras on it too

Each engine size on these cabriolets from final edition onwards had their own wheels which more or less happened at the time they introduced the 1.8 ADR engine into the chassis. 1.8 15" 6 spoke, 2.6 the 16" 8 spoke were are talking about and the 2.8 ten spoke Boleros. I guess it was possible to upgrade as an option to the bigger wheels when new but most upgrading of wheels would have happened in second third and so on owners fancying the higher spec stuff as the cars became cheaper and spares more plentiful. Good old ebay/forums.

I am going to have to get a cabby next year i like them so much, i think the wife will go nuts though

I will end up with a 5T, a B3 coupe, a B4 coupe, and a cabby.

Best bit is i only have one garage

My wife didn't like the idea of an unnecessary second car so when I was looking she was not happy at all but then she agreed to view this one last Friday. When she first saw it when we took the turn to the driveway where it was, her first words were: Ohhh that's beautiful!
When I was looking at it after some time she just said "buy it!". She likes it now

She's a bit nervous yet driving it because it's pedal's work differently to what she's used to in our mondeo. She'll get used to it
