Great vid Ken, thx for posting

Although I wouldn't want to own one (every bit as much a moneypit as a Ur) I have always thought the early XJ-S was a stunner - when I first saw one back in about 1977 they cost more than the house I lived in, so were like a window on another world.

As has been said, like the presenter's style.

And here is one with it next to an Audi...

I like the 1993 facelift, I think Jaguar really got this car sorted in the end.

I have two. A Le Mans '91 5.3 V12 in Brooklands Green and a black' 90 6.0 XJR-S with Zytek ignition. Just love the shape of these cars.

My mum had one when i was about 16 years old
She made me swear not to tell dad that she let me drive it on the road.
I also swore to dad I wouldn't tell her he let me drive his v12 xjc too.
But then he made me sell my mk2 escort 1100 as he said the handling was dangerous!
I'd have an xjs if I had space and time for one.
If anyone wants a project one I know where about 8-10 are stored inside-fhc and convertibles

What could possibly go wrong?

I really like these early models.
