B3 Audi 80 1.8T AEB converted
Circumstances are changing for me, and I it looks at though I wont be needing either of my cars, so I am going to put both up for sale - I have spent literally thousands on these, and obviously this one in particular has been pursued endlessly and expensively to solve a problem with the throttle body, which thankfully, I can report is solved once and for all and makes a healthy 171bhp on the dyno, no errors, no issues!
I understand that I wont get back the level of cash that I have thrown at this car, so I will be taking a some bits off it to put it back to a place where I feel it balances out with a realistic sale price. Good bits: - Quick, light and economical - AEB drive by cable 1.8T AEB unit, stage 1 map on Stock K03 - loads of new part to solve throttle issue (wiring, throttle body, barometric pressure sensor, PCV, inlet manifold, inlet sensor, lambda sensor, you name it...) - Forge Diverter valve - Custom made turbo back decat (its a 1990 - no need) 2.5" MIJ exhaust system - MOT'd till 27 June 2014 - Taxed till xmas or april next year (Cant remember will check and update) - Good, solid rust free body, original - Rare Kamei Sport front bumper - UR Quattro FMIC - Upgraded speakers - Alloys and tyres all 100% OK - Carbon CAI kit - Custom made 1.8T carpets - It had a new clutch, water pump and cambelt when it was converted from the 2.0 16v to AEB engine - more history that you can shake a stick it dating back to the original sale of the car, its a 2" think book of receipts, mots, work and brochures, very, very comprehensive! Being done now: - power steering pump went and broke the bracket that it was attached to, this is currently in the process of being fixed now with a replacement pump, bracket, viscous fan and housing Bad bits: - has some small gouges on the bonnet from a failing piece of metal that came off a truck, would just need a small bit of filler and a blow over of the bonnet to fix - same pieces of metal from truck put a small hole in the lower part of the kamei front bumper, again, paint and filler will fix What I was planning but now wont be doing: - Upgraded turbo, injectors and fuel pump + remap (should easily see 250bhp+) Notes: - I am basing the price on putting the car back to the stock B3 Black Jaquard satin interior, steering wheel and rear light clusters, however, if you want the full ABY/B5 S4 leather, 90 panel and sport steering wheel, check below In closing, I am gutted to sell it, especially as it all it will need now to be perfect is a little paint and a big turbo, but circumstances have changed and it is what it is... Based in Northampton, prices as follows: Without Leather: £2500 With Leather: £2800 With Leather, 90 panel and sport wheel: £2950 Incidentally, I had the T28 turbo fully rebuilt by Turbo Technics with a 360 degree thrust bearing, 64 housing, double sealed and various other mods, I also have the manifold, injectors and 044 fuel pump sitting here ready to go, but will be listing that separately. If someone wants the full car with all the bits ready to finish it off, PM me and we can negotiate. Pics: |

There are two options with the interior, black leather (priced accordingly) or standard black jacquard
On the cloth, its all good and original with only a small amount of marking on the base bolster to the drivers seat, could do with some foam work where the wire frame has rubbed, on the leather, very good black leather, no tears, aby fronts and B5 s4 rears adapted to fit plus US spec B3 90 black leather door cards (rare) You can see pics on my build thread |
