Default Assorted parts for typ44 Avant QT & B2 Coupe

Evening folks; I'm hoping some of you kind-hearted hoarders may be able to help me ...

Firstly the parts for my typ44. I think she was feeling neglected and decided to demand some attention, and now she's in bits in the driveway again! Anyway, the list:
  • Fusebox connectors; ideally the whole plug (see pictures). I'm upgrading the power supply to the headlights, like this: http://audi100.net/Technik/Tips___Tr...ht-update.html, and since I don't want to chop the original loom I'm hoping someone's got one of these plugs, or at least a few of the inserts, floating around; plug & connectors pictured below:

  • Relay plugs; i'm also after a couple of VAG standard relay plugs, the kind that will clip to the relay panels. Like these: http://www.audiworld.com/tech/pics/e...exhaust007.jpg
  • balljoint rubber boots; because i'm a clumsy a**e i nicked the edge of the control-arm balljoint boot. Anyone got a spare? The steering tie-rod end boot is looking a little ropey too ... (Also, does anyone know a supplier for these kind of bits?)
  • Rear-screen heater switch; it's a '90 car with the facelifted dash - anyone got a spare heated screen switch?
  • Heater seal tape; I need to pull the heater out to change the matrix - not my favourite job. Anyway i want to make sure it's properly sealed back to the bulkhead. Currently it's with that tar-like foam tape; i'm thinking i'll probably have to use mastic or something similar to refit it, unless anyone's got any better suggestions? ...

And onto the B2 Coupe parts ... and parts for the KG engine that's going into it
  • Exhaust manifold studs & nuts; as the inlet & exhaust manifold are coming off I was planning on replacing the studs; does anyone have, or can anyone point me in the direction of, a set of the right stud & nuts? Or would it be easier (since it's got to have some exhaust work done anyway) to get the exhaust guys to do it? (i've always been a little scared of dismantling engine so i'm working this out as I go along! )
  • Turbo studs & nuts; as for the exhaust manifold ...
  • Sunvisor clips x4 (2 sets); Ok this isn't a huge issue, but the visor clips in my Avant and the Coupe have both exploded and having the visors fall down everytime you hit the brakes is quite irritating. Ideally I'm after a blue pair and a cream or grey pair if anyone can help

That's about all I can think of for now, but i'm sure i'll need a few more obscure bits before i'm done (the fusebox connector is the one that's holding me up at the mo). Anyway if you can help drop me a pm and i'll get back to you.

Many thanks in advance folks

Hi, I can take a pair of snips to my spares car if you want for the electrical bits. I'll see if I have a switch that works, although I have swapped a good few out over the years for MOTs etc. I might have one that works! Some of the switches are the same underneath, they just have a different cover on them.

How much wire do you want on the connectors?? Which wires/colours? I haven't delved into the back side of one of these fuseboxes yet.

For studs, nuts and washers I went to Audi and VAG specialists, not cheap but if you use the wrong ones it'll be coming off again in no time! Maybe quattro corner will have them.

I've only got two sunvisor clips that work so I'll have to keep them I'm afraid, they seem to melt in the sun!

Mastic will do the heater box, I didn't bother, it only leaks if you spray a hose in between the two bulkheads if the big plastic cover is in one piece. Which I have done once or twice. Just make sure the drain holes in there are clear.

It'll be the weekend before I can get to it though, unless I learn to see in the dark in the meantime.

I may take you up on that offer What I'll probably do is nip to the scrappy on Saturday morning and then drop you a message about anything (or likely everything!) I'm still missing if that'd be ok?

I'll give Quattro Corner a try; I was looking through Dialynx's parts list earlier on a related issue as it turns out the exhaust manifold on my KG engine is cracked , and they seem to supply them too - I don't suppose you've got a spare 10v turbo manifold in good condition going spare as well have you?!!

Clearly there's a business opportunity in replacement sunvisor clips; that and non-crinkly rear window trim for typ44's (you know what i'm taking about )

Good to know; thanks. I can't go through another winter without heating, although having a rooflining helps; didn't someone write a guide on that? ...
