Got an "MVP Superline" buffer polisher and loads of bonnets.
I have a bottle of this polish lying about: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...tegoryId_31511 Turtle wax colour stuff which I might try with. Steve |

You'll get better results by not using that.Turtle wax contains loads of fillers which only mask the swirling. If you're going to go to the effort of machining your car, then use a polish that will get rid of the marks! It's going to take the same amount of effort anyway!

The Meguiars stuff is easy to use although they both contain fillers as well.
And the wax will only last about a week tops |

Okey dokey. How about the Autoglym range (I know you said the SRP contains fillers) but hasn't anything got to be better than this?
Admittedly it is now looking cleaner because I did 100 miles in the rain last night! |

Menzerna stuff will be the best for your money. High street stuff then Megs or Autoglym SRP.

What pads are you using with it? Are you using Megs pads as well?
If you haven't tried them yet, then I'd try out some of the Lake Country Pads. Best pads I've used. Would love to try the Megs 220 but got the UDM a few months ago so I'll plug along with that until she dies! |
