Default MB Ur Quattro turbo intake elbow orientation

Please could someone tell me which way up the 90deg elbow into the compressor inlet side of the turbo goes? It has a flat section on it, should this point upwards or downwards?? It’s an MB Urq.
Thanks..

The elbow itself should point horizontal towards the right side wing as you have another right angled hose which points upwards to the igloo on top of the plenum.

The wgfv take off was on the side nearest the manifolds I think - it's been a while.

Thanks for the reply, yes I’ve got it fitted but it has a scalloped out corner which could either be on the upper side of the corner or the lower side, I assume it’s to do with clearance for the intercooler.

Flat piece should be in the 2 o clock position when viewed from front.
