Default Help needed

Can anyone please help a fellow member? John jmlaudi was on his way to audi in the park and his alternator has packed up on his 2.8 v6 80
Does anyone in the area have a spare? I know how much he's been looking forward to getting the 80 that his late friend owned to aitp and now he fears he's going to miss it..
He's from what I gather at the holiday inn just off the m5 at billing but I will put his number on here so if anyone is able to help they can get in touch..

Thanks

M5 at Billing?
Do you mean the A45 sam?

[EDIT] Just spoke with John, hes at the travel lodge in round spinney, best I could offer is a spare battery which is now on charge.
Moonwatcher has since said that hes at the same travel lodge and has seen johns b4, so one way or another, we'll get him to the stand, and maybe a trader will have an alternator to see him safely home.

Guys. I know this is no immediate help, but this eBay item 191623429509 is listed at GBP129 suitable for a Passat 2.8 V6 and will fit an 80. It's in Plymouth and they have 10 off.

At least you will have this as a base price to compare against should a trader have one at the show.
