Finding it difficult to believe this was actually allowed to happen.....

Very sad, sound like things went a bit too far for too long......hard to imagine those involved didn't know the effect it was having on the lad?

The manager doesn't really seem to give a shit and thought it was okay.

I remember being sent off to buy tartan paint and the odd practical joke but nothing to this degree, and this was back in the good old days where men were men etc etc.

Read about it a few days ago, not a thing that should be allowed to happen ever ! that poor kid must have been scared to go to work and had nobody to help him.

Sadly still going on.
Bullying at work should absolutely not be tolerated in any way shape or form, you go to work to earn a living and make things better for you and your family and the last thing you ever need are utter wankers making things harder.
Audi need to fire everyone whose had a hand in this imho.

Totally agree.

I've been in the motor trade all my working life & this kind of thing still goes on & is somehow deemed acceptable. Matters like this usually end up getting laughed off. Somehow I managed to avoid this kind of thing myself, however I did hear of & witness various incidents back in the day, similar to what this poor lad went through.
