Is rearranging your “tool chest” a euphemism for rearranging your “lunch box”?

Out of the gutter please sir!!!!

I also made this out of scrap ply to stop my extensions rolling around.

Wonder what I'll find to do today? Or more likely, what I'll be told needs to be done !!!

Exile has been quite busy, here in the turgid mudflats. I’ve actually been enjoying much of my 3 weeks off in the back garden, catching up on jobs previously put on hold and keeping the mind from wandering. A top up of the tan, despite the cold.

About three years ago, I built a cabin in the back garden at my mother’s place (sort of a refuge/office and occasional clean workshop). Then life and work got in the way, and it remained with a partial floor until the Chinese gift for life.

So now, the floor is finished. The refuge is now home to some interesting parts I accumulated a few years back.
I’ve employed my schoolboy carpentry skills and built a new door for the garage. The old one having rotted out like an old quattro.

The original little project of the instruments case only got underway yesterday, though. Sadly, no jalopies got tinkered with, but a great many tools got reunited.

Fortunately/unfortunately I’m off to work on Sunday. Jalopies on hold until mid May.

I was curious.... what is that heart shaped stain in front of your longest extension?

Or is it another euphemism?
