Blue 1969 H reg 1500 Beetle, also passed my test in the same car, had a fantastic engine ( well for a Beetle anyhoo...
) and regularly saw the gauge go past the oil light... ) |

had lessons in a mk2 escort and my mums works van (a mini van)45 lessons and one failure later ,i passed my test .'82 was the year i think.Ithink the lessons were £4.50 an hour at the time.

As I said above, I learned to drive in a LandRover at the age of 11, it was easy as they had a hand throttle, so it was simple to select a gear and release the clutch and steer, I progressed onto the truck behind when I was 13 years old, this made passing my test when I was 17 easy, 4 lessons and passed.
