The ones I have all came with cars.

The only one I do like is the one that came on the 100 Coupe S as on the original order form they had requested an "interesting number plate" and the garage issued them this!
Nowadays, the DVLA would be cashing in on this as they don't release low numbers for general issue as it generates waaay too much income for them.

Alex's Piss rat 4motion is S30VVW, and the lad we bought it off got it from the DVLA for about £500. It's spaced to read S30V VW as it's a 30V VW !! Great wooopeee do!!

The one on Quasi's an old style suffix plate. AJF *** A.

Similar ones are advertised up at around the 2k mark.....

Now you know that's not fair, you'd love one really, but the local Rotary Club Chairman would chatter, and we can't have that can we....

uncles got a decent plates on a couple of vintage tractors, sadly they can't be transferred to road vehicles for some reason, have to stay wi the tractor, although i supposed dvla would sell it if the vehicle were ever scrapped! one of them is asu xxx (can't remember the 3 numbers might be 460) and can't remember the other one at all but it's much similar!

sometimes you can pick up a bargain, and you shouldn't forget if looking at 3rd party reg sites, to try dvla as they may well have it cheaper!!

The bad news is that today I received my V5 document and under the "special notices " section it states that it is a "Non-transferrable number plate".
not quite sure why but could be because it was imported, then had a private plate on it, then had a normal age appropiate plate issued to it.
Saves £xxx anyway on the bright side
