i had a nice 80 quattro a few years ago in white, reg ended rkv i think
sold it for £500! wish i hadnt
saw it on ebay 12 months later sporting some 15" ronals, lowering job and £1500 tag!
dont no wot happened to it after that, would like another though
Also had an 80 quattro that was owned by Lord Stafford s game keeper
mega miles onit, ran on 3 cylinders when i got it, apparently the guy used to really abuse it (it showed)
only sold it to do my 20 valve conversion and needed garage space-already had big ronals on-now on Booty's car

Guys, i didn't mean to waste any of your time or get any of your hopes up. I have decided that i don't want to sell this car anymore as there is still more things i would like to do with it first, i feel i have unfinished business and I like it more by the day.

When i bought it i took it straight to the bodyworkers (in for 2 months) to get it restored, i only got to drive it for one day until the police caught me half a pint over the alcohol limit. I had only moved my car 20 meters to re-park in a safe place and during that time they lynched me. Its going to be 9 months until i get to drive this lovely car again and until then i am planning to make it purrrfect.

The car is parked on my friends drive the other side of town, when i get the chance i shall pop over and give it a polish, put some 15" splits on and take some snaps to show you guys. Aplogies to those whose hopes i got up, when the time comes for the final goodbye i shall re-list it on here with pictures. Thanks!

well the reason why i said that is because i got charged for drink driving, i was the equivalent of half a pint in alcohol units over the legal limit
