It's a hoot to drive now with the cheapo tyres!!

Joking aside, at high speed whilst it corners ok it feels a bit skitterish . The CQ although a bit wallowy feels better somehow?
What I'll need to do is some time trials!

So how much better with good ones?

In reply and in all seriousness, the Asymmetric 2's will/should sort out any skittishness. Get them on and report back sharp! If it doesn't there's something wrong? The Quattro always feels that bit more planted excellerating hard out of corners in the wet thats where the quattro scores,all four corners driving. But thats the rub, the FWD 20v is lighter and feels better in most situations,sharper handling,except in awful weather when quattro is king.However i do get it that there's something about quattro,maybe it's the extra weight over the rear axle that helps too? There's the obvious advantage of a better planted rear wheel due to the adjustability of camber.

Aye, 2 different cars.

Wheels should be swapped in the next few days.
