The Laxey Wheel - the steps to the top are very 'iffy' as a tight spiral, and made the fronts of your legs ache on the way down. Wheel was originally used to pump water from the Lead Mines.

The Laxey Wheel... Awesome engineering.

Need to try and sort some of the video out as I'm having difficulty hosting it on Youtube due to the length. But I'll try and sort it out today.

I've taken plenty of pictures. and video, and I'm hopeully uploading some to youtube as we speak...

Huge thanks to John 'Briggers' for arranging it all, for being so knowledgeable on the TT and being an all round top bloke...

Basically, we had a good thrash round on Friday... With the TT course being mapped out, then on Saturday, it was ladies day, with a shopping trip that didn't end up in Ann Summers, honest.. (or did it)... We just cried with laughter...
Then it was some more thrasharoons up to the Laxey wheel and fish & Chips in Ramsey.
Sunday saw more thrasharoons and a chase round some of the Manx rally stages...

Piccies wise, and video wise....

(PS - with the video, please excuse the incorrect aspect ratio..... Thanks)...

Superb stuff Ian
I'll definitely have to come next time if I'm allowed (and if I haven't bought something else just before that is!).

Andy must be 'Rilla' on t'other forum then. Great plate!

It was a pleasure to be there and also to meet some like minded quattro nuts too! So I had better post some of my pics.

Queing at the Pierhead.

The Promenade at Douglas

Trawlers at Peel Harbour

Audi fire power on the harbour at Peel.

Laxy wheel ......at Laxy of course!

'Dad', 'is it a long way down'?

Not sure what they were looking at....???

Another view.

My old girl at rest, at Point of Ayr, the most northerly point on the island

Lighthouse at Point of Ayr

Ben Varrey, in at Ramsey.

All together now...'aahhhh'.

Castle Town Harbour, pub and castle! There's been some interesting cars thrash up that narrow gap by the pub over the years, and some famous drivers!

Memorial at 'Calf of Man'

Flossie looking out for Dolphins and Basking Sharks

Seals having a well earned sleep.

Cars having a breather, at West Baldwin, home to many a rally.

The road through West Baldwin where the rally cars of yesteryear would be doing at least a ton past here.

Some serious 'thrutch' going on heading back to the mainland.

The big bird welcomes us back.

Many thanks John for putting up with us yet again. It was a cracker.
