I'm spying on Lithuanian parts, etc, etc websites as I'm Lithuanian myself, so please all other foreign guys do the same, it might appear somewhere one day. Then we can go and thunderlight them!

Still no luck so far, and the battle with the Insurance company is beginning. They wont honour the guaranteed value of the policy..

They have advised that I start collating all receipts and getting market value information..

How much is an 87 Coupe GTworth = How long is a piece of string..

Bastards, shit like that would cause me to end up jailed for burning their main office to the ground!
Did they give a reason for not paying the agreed value?

Burning them to the ground is definately on the cards in the very near future...

You will love the reason for not paying the agreed value;

"The agreed valuation for vehicles which fall into the self certification of value criteria i.e Below 2,500 is only accepted if the current market value of the car is equal to the agreed value"

WTF.......

ask gav to try speak to andy bowskill as audifans do valuations so might be able to help out if coxy does not. Really sorry you've not had any luck getting it back. What was the milage of the car as currently prices seem to be going up for gt's from what i've seen.

Thats Boll****, Whats the point of agreed value if they just end up going to market value. Who you with? Name and shame.
Did you send off pictures and condition report to get agreed value?

Cheers, I will get Gav to speak with Andy and see if they can do anything. Car had done 120k, unfortunately evrything that comes up for sale is either a Quattro or a scruffy GT on the bay of thieves so getting a true "market value" is going to be a nightmare.. and of course I have just realised while typing this that the service book was in the glove box inside the owners manual ........ B*****KS..!!!

I am with Highway, through Performance Direct. And yep sent pics and condition report were sent back in May when the policy was taken out, but this is where the problem is because Highway say that anything under 2500 quid you self certify on there forms (over that they want independent valuations) which is what I did and now they say because its "self certified/valued" its not worth the paper its written on..

So be aware folks Highway are well named as they are run by Dick Turpin and Black Bess...
