My thoughts exactly Andya. Only been on here a few months but has proved invaluable to me as I learn about my Classic Audi.
Like many I don't post often but enjoy the immense variety of member's cars, restorations, problems and solutions.

Long live CA I say.

Another thing worth saying - the amazing information resource that is stored here. Type anything into Google 'how to' Audi related, and a ca thread normally comes up.

I browse a lot on here but rarely post unless it's going to add or assist.

I'd prefer the forum to continue and the facbook group to disappear. keep it all in one place

I have been on this forum for quite a few years now and I have seen a decline in traffic but there are reasons for this.Yes people sell their cars and Facebook can play a part also, but the reason some people have gone or certainly don't post as often (me included) is that the trend towards the newer models far outweighs the older models which I would see as Classic Audis.
You cant stop time and people come and go as so do trends and peoples choices but I know I speak for a few people on here and some that have gone that when interesting posts go up they get little or no interest whereas at times posts about absolutely nothing car related gets lots of interest and pages of posts.
Its not a post to have a go but fact.
I will keep posting on here as much as I can and hope there is a resurgence in interest in the older Classic Audis.
Regards Phil.

I think I've changed my mind!!!

I posted my comment about 20 hours ago and then left for work, what a response! Glad it appears this forum is alive and well. Some interesting comments but all fairly positive.

I'm off to read them all again.

I would think that's inevitable, the cars you view as classic audis are getting older and older and fewer and far between. Before long (10 years ish) I would argue that the B5 RS4 for example could be almost as iconic as the UR Quattro is now. So things need to move forward or the forum will die along with all the older Audi's. The plus being that the original classics (if still around) will just become more and more desirable and make those threads even more interesting. Everyones a winner as Del Boy would say
