my first driving job in 2003, for a cash and carry, '93 merc 1820 no power but had a 12 speed box which helped.. was replaced with a '98 but i have no pics of it, i left shortly after.

2nd seat was this '99 hino, theyre horrible trucks!!! was put on a mixer after a couple of weeks and hated it so i left the company,

got a call about 2 years later asking me if id come back, and got to drive this '07 DAF CF 380, i loved it, drove it till nov '08 when the recession struck, was my favorite job.. so far!!

Some old beasties there right enough.
Been with this company since 1990, stated out with an Freg 7.5t Ford Cargo, then 2002 got a six wheeler Daf cf 310 26 tonner, then 2003 went on to the artic with a brand new 53 plate Daf XF 480 unit and Andover tri-axle with rear lift
Then 56 plate XF 480
Then 57 plate XF460
Then 60 plate XF 460, all the XF's had 16 speed 4 over 4 with splitter
The 60 plate was uprated to STGO CAT 2 grossing 52 tonnes
Had the current CF since Janary 2014 , also CAT2 52 tonne, unfortunately though she has the 12 speed A-Tronic auto box which is a manual box controlled by ECU's, fine on most open roads but useless for dragging heavy gear on sites and in rural, pokey locations, just not enough gears and not the right feel of control.
Of course you can put it into manual mode but then you may just as well have a clutch and stick.

i wasnt a fan of Scanias but have to say this ones not a bad oul truck, the others i drove were junk in comparison..
