Shut it you slayyyg.
If I rip this vintage door card off many more times, even more parts will fall off it.This will render it trim-furnitureless.

Yipeeeeee!

I proud to say I got my 200 Turbo back from Ben at AV Performance yesterday evening.

It appears the car was down on power due to two cylinders being down on compression.
Some total cowboy a long long time ago had badly fitted a replacement head gasket. It wasnt secured down properly either. You could undo two of the head bolts with a ratchet, reported Ben

It also already had a K26 Turbo on it,BUT whatever muppet plumbed it in clearly didnt know what they were doing. The plumbing was all over the place and it wasnt boosting correctly.

What she had done was:
New head gasket
Head skimmed
New Valve Stem Seals
Remachined the valve guides as they were crumbling up!
New water pump
New Cambelt
Replacement K26 Turbocharger from a WR
Replacement Camshaft from a WR

She now drives beautifully and is soooo smooth.I can now hear the sound of the exhaust and the 5 pot din! She sounded like a poorly maintained tractor the last time I saw her!

So,I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank Ben yet again for such a thorough, professional and friendly service.I wasnt the easiest,un-pain in the arsey customer either, constantly ringing him every day asking of her wellness.
Its been well worth every minute of the wait.Yer a star mate.I will be back for my,what would it be,5th visit???Subframe bushes and wheel bearings are next.

Theyre sure to give in fairly soon after I drop the suspension 35mm next week and fit new shocks to the front.
Im looking for Type 44 200 Turbo Rear shocks for cars without self-levelling suspension too.If I have these,it will mean I have the whole suspension in parts,to fit!Can anyone help me with this??

Lots of pics to follow!

Cheers Ben

She'll now whip your Quattros ass too, dicksplash!!

She puts out 230 of the queens horseus without wasting some of it through a Quattro Drive system.

Yeah hes a top fella. On the test drive,he did touch my knee though, and asked me if I loved him...
That I did find a little disconcerting

Hey up Groomus..another satisfied customer then Ben can go home at a reasonable time now It's suprising what some garages or so called experts do to these cars. At least she's sorted now.

If you're changing the suspension, why don't you do the wheel bearings and bushes yourself at the same time?
