Nah - sold car before forum croaked. ;-)

It was time for it to move on - my metal skills could not do it justice. 12 years I've had it. Driven it probably 500 miles.
Wife's VW Golf I Cabrio Etienne Aigner got totalled almost 2 years ago and insurance more than covered a 1992 Audi Cabrio 2.3E so ... Still have an Audi with a 5-cyl engine parked out there...

It’s a shame if it doesn’t come back properly, I know it’s very quiet there now, but the aged information is very useful

I'm definitely able to login. however, the security settings are utterly ridiculous. like the most paranoid windows user setting the most cautious setting......and getting locked out!

the company I work for have a similar IT policy, resulting in critical communications being quarantined, system access being restricted, all the time. Between spam, hacking, and COVID, the human race is being brought to a complete stop.

Same for me.

Such a shame as there was so much saved knowledge on there and the search function was pretty good.

Even tried registering again and keep getting the contact the locked out administrator message. Not entirely obvious how to do that unless I’m missing something ??

I tried so many times. Now I’ve given up and don’t even bother looking. As you say, such a shame.

As previously mentioned, I can leave a message in this thread that I started on there

https://www.quattroforum.com/postid/148016/

One thing that might be worth checking is whether your browser is not part of the issue. Some of my company’s stuff works only on specific browsers, or loses functionality. I can’t reset my password from Safari, or my iPad, which I have to do every 180 days (Irony, my company issues us with an iPad, but our IT department don’t manage it, so don’t cater for it, and we can’t contact It unless we first log in)

All this tech is pretty unhelpful these days.
