Real shame it didn't last long after I chopped it in for a Rover 420d of all things I'd settle for a set of those wheels for winter tyres.

Great cars imo & generally always 100% reliable... I site this period as when Vauxhall was at its best!

I check on ebay almost every week to see if there's a Cavalier I might like lol!!

It was Graphite metallic (LB7V) but you are right because it had been resprayed before I bought it in a colour very similar to panther black. Ive been looking for another GA chassis graphite car ever since i sold MWF and luckily i found one last year. Its progress can be seen in my thread "Restoring Graphite ur quattro" MWF had had a hard life and was far from mint, but they were the best years of my life driving around in it (1995-99) I eventually had it painted Graphite in 2000. It was one of the reasons that I sold it. The paint job was shit and I lost heart in the car. Biggest mistake of my life, and I've made a few mistakes I'll tell you. (or was it not getting that girls number in Portugal....)

Just realised the one I sold for all the wrong reasons.

Citroen AX GT

When I bought it, it'd got everything wrong with it, I damn near killed my A-reg 1 litre polo doing to essex to get a gearbox for it, but damn was tidy, me and the old man spent ages getting it through a test and reliable, by which point, we were arsed off with the sight of it.

Try finding one now

sold my 968 Sport yesterday. No real reason than I fancy a change, but I still can't help thinking "why did I sell it..?"

So, this week will mainly be spent trawling the internet for a suitable replacement!
