That was on the other weekend. Pure, pure class. I still think the funniest part of the film is when Burt Reynolds is talking to Dean Martin and refers to Sammy Davis Jnr as ' his little chocolate monk'. You just couldn't say that nowadays.

oh wow blade runner id forgoten about that im gona go root in the loft for the video now, and transporter superb this is turning out to be a brain jogger for lots of you now i feel a trip to hmv coming on to try get some of these to watch as theres bugger all on tv

another timeless one , including a frase i use a lot from charles bronson "vee need more vood"

Conan the Barbarian
John Millius' Sword and Sorcery epic. 1982.
Perhaps the 1st and last of the genre worth watching.
Basil Poledouris soundtrack seals the deal.
Mako (RIP) as the wizard and narrator, stellar voice.

I won't even talk about "the Destroyer" . Waste of celluloid.
Could not find the opening sequence, without tampering.

John Millius' resent work on "ROME" for HBO was some of the best TV I've seen in a decade. The man understands, what needs to be left unsaid better than most directors.
