Rich you know what you said to me last night on the phone about not being quuuite so crude on the forum................

Perhaps....I could COME up to Scotland,stay BEHIND for a while after I PICK YOU UP,then we could look under the bonnet.
We may become tempted to jump in the HOLE and get DOWN and DIRTY

In all seriousness, does anyone have an idea how much it would cost to buy and reinstate all the missing pieces? It could be a pretty rewarding project for someone.

I think the killer is the rear diff. These were unique to the V8 and possibly sport quattro which is why people want V8s, purely for the diff. And all they want off typ85 saloons is the front windscreen and door tops for the same reason.

Rear diff is torsen, but I don't think u can't install standard lockable diff in it's place.
