I was amazed at the NLA situation on parts for My C Plate MK3 EScort XR3i. When you consider how common they were new, you would have thought there was a large availability of parts still available. Couldn't be more wrong. One of the reasons I got rid of it. Then the problem with all the second hand spares is that they are as bad as the ones you wish to replace in the first place. Another catch 22 situation. It put me off having an older car to play with, hence I just have my daily driver A6 now. But you never know what crops up for sale!

yeah ive seen loads of series 3 90s... but not many b2s... only ever saw one original irish reg.. a teacher at my school had it.. thats goin back a while... 19 years ago now i think of it...

by the way the engine in my escort has decided it doesnt want to produce oil pressure anymore.... engine number 4 one the way me thinks....
