Brilliant footage, so good to see stuff thats not been doing the rounds for years....

Ha! Love the one liner at the end!!!!... That just typifies Vatanen!!!!.......Reminded me of the clip of him telling Tony Fall that he had bust the diff on his Escort...Tony Fall said...."Well its ok fit a new one at service"....

Vatanen..."Yes but its not possible"....Tony Fall looks at him with a quizical gaze clearly thinking its surely a simple job for the Ford mechanics and responds, "Why on earth not"!?

Vatanen cuts him dead with.." Because we havent got one"!!

Then proceeded to rob some poor bugger who was on his jollies of his 3.0 litre Capri diff. Peter Ashcrofts comments were even better than Vatanens. " Just nip down the road to the local dealer and get a new diff fitted and forward the bill to me, here's my card" They were in the middle of nowhere..priceless.

Yeah but he does the rest of the stage allmost flat out!!!!..probably a darn site faster than any of us could do it without a puncture!

What a twist too that Vatanen must be the only rally driver that owes his life to the presence of a Helicopter......So often its been the opposite...

Lets hope he gets Mosleys job.
