Good tactic by that dealer putting a knackered old M reg Mondeo on the front cos it might encourage everyone else who owns one to chop it in and bin it off!!

oh, and on a more serious note about your cars value (as this topic seems to be going slightly astray!). I would make sure you get an agreed value of £2500 on her for insurance purposes.
Good, well maintained CQ's are few and far between and are sought after.

Thanks for the pointer Coxy. I'm being rather silly at the moment and only throwing it onto my beemer insurance whenever I take it out for work to be done at the garage, but it is on my list of things to do when I return from holiday!

But as soon as I do I'll aim for a price around there, especially as I'm going to lavish on the beast in the next year with full leather interior and respray!
