Worst car my dad had was a 1977 S plate Lipstick Red MK2 Capri 1.6L which he had for 9, yes 9 bloody years. All through my school years he had that car. He bought it at 18 months old as it was mega cheap, and it was mega reliable. He kept it until it was literally knackered an fit for scrap. The best car he had was his Aluminium Silver A8 Sport...until I wrote it off...

Triumph Acclaim; my dad had 2 of these, followed by a brown 1500 allegro. Didn't think it was too bad when i was wee, but looking back i do feel slightly embarassed, especially when he tells me he had a 1275 gt mini, but sold it when i came along.

I'm going to be slightly traitor here and say the wost car my dad ever had was a white polo 1990 model i think? Only just gotten rid of the thing.

very unreliable , crap brakes, 3 head gaskets, heavy steering, a gash down the side of it and a stupid coat hanger for a make shift antenna! (i had enough of that one day and yanked it off!)

But despite all this, and the embarrassment of turning up in it.. I still enjoyed driving it in a shitty kinda way, & genuinely think it had a soul in its own little way. So I'll prob miss it tbh.

My dad also had a blue Renault 12 TL truley shocking. Infact my Farthers tast has always been crap when it comes to cars! He really thinks the french build the best looking and most reliable cars in the world. He is one of the only people in the UK that bought a Pug 605, looooooser!!!! LOL!!!
