Actually they are not cycling shorts, just regular "Dickies" shorts covering up the cycling tights underneath (waterproof, and warm).

Notice the crocs, with Goretex socks???

I have these ones (which leak slightly, being at least 10 years old)

But I would like these for mountain biking. Totally waterproof up to 18 inches. Wade through streams easily.

Unless you have tried Crocs don't knock them.

But then you are past 40.

It did a bit, but not as much as youd have thought. The 6 hours spent sat on the A14 were classed as "period of availiability" I.E not a break, not work but "available for work" They didnt affect the amount of hours I could drive. The other way I went wasnt that much further time wise so it worked out ok.

totally stuck today had to use the quattro in the snow ,cannot wait for the warmer weather to give the car a good wash ,to get rid of the salt and crap
