Audi Servicing Anyone??! - Page 3

It's not just servicing! Only last month I put my B7 RS4 in for its MOT! She's done just 19k, always garaged and in A1 condition! She has full MDSH and I wanted to keep everything up to date with Audi ( I know I know ) So, imagine my surprise when they failed it for the pipe work relating to the DRC system as being heavily corroded! I was quoted £2,500 to put right (didn't ask if that was inc Vat)! Fortunately, I have a contact at another Audi dealership who spoke to their MOT specialist who said he'd never heard of any Audi being failed on this?...ever! I questioned them and found out they had outsourced the MOT to some other garage? WTF? I took it to Audi to be dealt with by Audi! i asked them for the exact part numbers which they would not release! WHY! So they couldn't be held responsible if I or someone else fit the wrong parts!??? THATS WHY I WANTED THE FOOKIN PART NUMBERS DICKHEAD! Eventually twisted an arm elsewhere in the dealership and took the car to my trusted mechanic who wire brushed the slightly rusted pipes, greased them and had her pass the Mot with flying colours! That's Bolton Audi who also always charge for windscreen wash at extortionate prices.......even though I always top it up myself before service and still get charged for it! They always sheepishly remove the costs and give me a complimentary bottle of screen wash! Touched a nerve.......they've got a bloody nerve!
