Fair enough!

Usage and the opportunity cost of the money tied up in mine are the reasons I keep toying with selling, that and she has been a right handful to me, although well over the hump now

Though I keep seeing RS6 avants (the lambo ones) around my neck of the woods and they're awfully tempting but also waay out of my price range at the mo even for a 5 year old one!

I've spoken to the owner of the Nautic blue mb. It sounds like a nice car but the millage is close to 200,000 and the engine rebuild was done a while ago. Also the comment about colour holds here. I'm not a big fan of nautic. However I am considering it if I can't locate anything else.

I'd like to stick to a UK car if possible, at the moment.

Not looking for an early wr, I drove one many many years ago and I found it wasn't as refined as my mb. I understand later wr models are much better on many fronts, not least refinement.

I'm still looking so any pointers would be very gratefully received.

Regards.
Harry.
Patience is required Harry.Colour, condition, mileage and history are all important so dont make compomise on what you really want in your ideal UR.However to find it the only compromise may have to be your budget.
Please post up pics and details of any UR's that you are considering and theres more than myself will give you honest opinions of the said cars.

cheers,

That is a cracking looking UR Craig,

and it's a shame you have to part with such a fabulous classic audi but the reasons are fully understood and you can't do everything and with the views you get from your flat I would make that the priority too!

Hope the sale goes well mate a super motor for someone.

Thanks Craig.

At the moment my budget is around 12k/13k.

Good luck with the sale. She does indeed look very special.

well, if you can make it to the show then you're more than welcome to have a look around it. all offers will be given the greatest consideration.

I'm hopefully looking at a few cars this weekend so won't be able to make the show.

Enjoy yourselves and hopefully I'll be able to make it next year.
