The injectors need to be pulled out as straight as poss as you risk bending them on the way out, that's why they made a tool.
Worth getting the plastic inserts as they go brittle and can break.
Same part number as the mk1/2 golf gti, Btw

Default Sorry MSL,but it may help you.

Just,the plastic inserts?
I've just checked and there are small seals at the tip(aswell) of the injector.I think I'll replace these, aswell.
I'll contact the local Stealers and see if they can surprise me?See which parts, are available?
Anybody else done this job and have any tips or advice? What are, your views?
Thanks.

When re-inserting the injectors,I apply quite a liberal amount of Vaseline to the seals, to help them pop back in, but grease is obviously just as effective. Don't know if it's the right thing to do,but it makes life easier.

Mmm yes, a little lube is always good for inserting and gives a nice seal. Insert slowly and smoothly with a little wiggle.
Be gentle at first then a final push at the end.
Remember to clean any spillages as the area is close to the exhaust.
Once you are satisfied, go get a cupa tea and apologise for swearing at her the other day.

Certainly sounds like you've had plenty of experience in this area
