Had a similar problem onmine after a non genuine wing was fitted. When I had the bare metal re-spray 5 years ago it got replaced for the genuine article...that fitted and sounded better when you tapped it too.

Looking at the pics, other than the locking pin needs adjusting to lower the bonnet down to align with the wing, the bonnet seems to align with the section below the windscreen suggesting the wing has a part to play in this too. Bonnet adjustment will help but if you're fussy, adjusting the wing may be necessary or a new wing as in my case...
