Well done, it's a lot tougher nowadays to get your licence, good achievement. Next thing will be the first SOLO!

Insane.

In the UK, learner drivers are banned from motorways during instruction so they arrive in the world of motoring notionally quallified but with zero experience of motorways.

In Germany, hours of Autobahn driving are REQUIRED before you get your licence.

yep, well done now take it easy and build up some no claims to get your insurance down.
Agree that Motorway driving should be a compulsary section of the test.
Was it on Top Gear a while back that said that Sweden (I think) insist in several years of training including rally style antics so you know how to control a car before you go out on the public roads. Sounds like a good idea

You should try the Driving test here in Canada.......Monkeys could pass it and frequently do.....
Lofty Junior passed first time and then promptly wrote the car off 6 weeks later......
I said before he went for his test, that in my opinion he needed a lot more driving experience.......And I was the one that sat with him for 90% of his learning......
I used to moan about Driving standards back in the UK , but here, it truly is appalling.
I would never class myself as a particularly good driver , but most people here make me look like a McRae.....
