Hey how do you change the ATF on these?
Ben mentioned having to gravity feed the new fluid up and in from under the car.
Ive always poured the stuff down the dipstick hole.
I also cant find the drain plug to let the old stuff out.

Not having ever done it but.....

I do not think the gearbox has a drain plug, you remove the fluid by removing the underpan.

I topped mine up down the dip stick hole using a small funnel.

Correct - the article in the previous post above about says as much... Looks like a right PITA without a ramp and a clean environment.

Well,seeing as that old 200 refused to start still after changing metering heads for a good one and refitting the old pump,today saw the 100 receive the 200 front end.

Changed the headlights after a good old cleany refurb and cleaned the chassis rails and all else I could get to in there.Next is to swap the bumpers as the 200 has the wiper jet pods in them and I love how they help to fill out the front end.

The niggliest bit,as warned about,is the ally trim.You fit one bit and the other end pops out,lol.Got it sorted after a little "persuasion" though.
Im next putting the lower front apron on after finishing the clean.

Andrew Baron2211 is having some parts from the 200,engine and interior on the bay now with quite some interest this time.

Im half hoping the engine doesnt sell,so I can keep Ben's rebuild and put it in a CQ.

Its not their car and hasnt been their nightmare,so balls ....

Rain has stopped play at the moment but pics asap.

Im channeling stuff directly to current 200 owners,and helping to keep their cars on the road.Im not whacking stuff on ebay willy nilly for a few quid.
Like I say guys,the engine Ben sweated over does owe some money back,but if it doesnt sell,it will go to power another Audi,and come indoors for a damn good cleansing.
In all honesty,the shell required a total repaint and I wasnt selling it complete at a massive loss.
