I dislike her politics intensely (albeit I hated Salmond) thankfully Boris and Nigel obviously lead private lives that are beyond approach. I see passions are becoming inflamed again Take a chill pill people and let's try and remember what brings us together here |

Don't normally read the Guardian but this is a very interesting piece about voting patterns and potential future problems for both the Tory's and Labour |

Late in on this , but the lovely Nicola is out to spoil our day by veto'ing the Referendum invoking the power of the Scottish Parliament in Westminster. My vocabulary is lapsing into unprintable stuff.....

It is all very scary now due to the uncertainty in so many areas, but the urge to know what happens next is only natural. With time things will settle. Even the stock market hasn't melted down as predicted.
Most younger voters may well feel let down now because of the idealism that youth brings with it, yet I'm sure many of them were not entirely happy with the prospects that faced them well before the referendum was even mentioned. I suspect many more of them would vote leave had the referendum taken place 15 years from now and life had had more time to ravage them. For certain, whether we had voted to Leave or Remain, we are headed for difficult times. The result just chooses our path. The entire world couldn't successfully isolate even pariah nations such as Iran, Iraq, Cuba etc, so what are the chances of the EU penalizing a nation like ours? Extreme examples I know, but Britain is the world's 5th largest economy and as such is too big to ignore. There are a lot of angry people having their say now, both here and in Europe, but I believe money/profit will ultimately influence a lot more than people realize. The important thing is to ensure that the nutters on the extreme left and right of politics gain no benefit from what lays ahead. Our nation is known for its desire for a sense of fair play with no one being treated unjustly, and long may it continue... Keep Calm and Carry On |

She's desperate to stay in the eu for the eu funds if she then goes for devo 2 , without eu money she's up shit creek . The eu have said her idea of pulling a fast one to stay in is a non starter and it will cost her and no doubt they will have to take the euro on as a currency , all assuming we do leave the eu
