Cant see the reg, but you did announce it on another thread as being 2.3L IIRC
[EDIT] yup, thread is this one: http://www.classic-audi.co.uk/forum/...ad.php?t=35507

Are you expecting Lee to come down with some sort of bug? (refer to typo)

Lol, poxy predictive! Actually vomit was almost me last year as I had too many beers the previous night!

I've just got to have the patience with the new Coupe which is something I am not good at- I always want to make them into a show car over night! The wheels need a refurb and the interior needs a bit of attention. Its not going to be show condition by AITP but never mind, at least I get to be a part of it!

Wheel refurb & interior, is that all Crossle?...
you should see my 'to do' list, been working through it for the past 18mths and there's still shed-loads left to do!

As for yours being a show car, like c'mon, no one will be expecting that, esp. when you've only just got it, and no one really looks inside either, so just get the cleaning stuff out, get it to AITP8, and bobs ya uncle, jobs a good un!

No, I didn't do a reg check, it was a guess to be honest, those speedlines are usually on 2.3s, its a 3B and although I wasn't 100% sure (I was looking for the quattro badge on the grille) it was I guess, luck.

I won't be at AITP this year, I am working in Johannesburg from the 8th, decided to tag on a few days of Safari in Kruger park at the end before coming back. I weighed it up...

cars in a field vs. lions and rhinos in the wild, with 3 nights in a treehouse...

sorry

Accuweather report for Hardingstone this weekend:

Saturday 16th July:
23°HI Periods of clouds and sun
RealFeel® 24° Precipitation: 25%

Sunday 17th July:
24°HI Mostly sunny and pleasant
RealFeel® 26° Precipitation: 21%

Looking like a good weekend for giving the cars a good wash/polish on the Saturday, and also for the meet on the Sunday.
(nb. dont forget the sun screen! )

Default attendance list for 17th July meet

YES:
leggy - 1992 B4 80 2.0E Sedan - Tornado Red
martin hall - 1984 B2? UR Quattro Coupe - VW Dunkel Grey
1781cc - 1997 B4 2.8 V6 Cabriolet - Kingfisher Blue (hoping and praying! )
Crossle - 1990 B3 2.3 20v Coupe - White
sinbin5t - 1993 modified B4 80 2.6E V6 Coupe (aka. Stormtrooper) - White
jamesfuller - vintage Mitsubishi of some kind

MAYBE:
marcusR - 1990 B2 UR Quattro - Tornado Red (looking forward to seeing this again! )
theschmallfella - 200 type 44 - Black (will most likely be, in his own words, in his "less than perfect S6" though )
Leg2562 - 1987 B2 Quattro Coupe - Tornado Red
Teko - VW Golf IV Tdi estate

nb. I'm not familiar with every members vehicle yet so a bit of research was needed on my part to find out who owns what and to try and remember all the model/platform specs, so very sorry if I've got anything wrong - Certainly appears to be a nice collection for the meet anyway!

Well there could easily be a big list of jobs to do but I am using this one as an every day so just want to get it a bit more presentable. Mines a 1990 B3 by the way.

Shame you won't be going to AITP Lee but can't blame you with an opportunity like that!
