What happened?

The A2 beat the RS6 ( predicatably really on the handling / boost front ) but the producers didn't like that. So they wheeled out the latest EVO, which to be honest is / was a devastating piece of kit, it JUST won. So they aired that. But the show was supposed to be about old versus new from the same manufacturer.

Gotya. They should have put the pikes peak Quattro up there...evo wouldnt have stood a chance....

It all worked well with the Escort against the Focus and the GT40 against the Ford V6 Engined Noble.... Then the A2 (better on the loose than tarmac at the best of times) gets the Evo8

I dont know so much Tony. Those EVO thingies in their latest guise are awesome cars. Not my cup tea but they handle amazingly. All computer aided trickery admittedly but they can handle. I also think that it's down to the driver too. Put Rorhl back behind the wheel and it could have done.
