Lake Willoughby is really lovely.
Deep, clean, cool.
Record Lake Trout are caught every year.
About 35-40 minutes south of the Canadian border.
I've been going since I was 10.
Sets my whole being at ease.
We cooked, drank wine, read 3 books, played cards and sat on the beach in the Fall sun.
The water was warm enough to wade in despite the frosts at night.
Good excuse for a fire at night.
I usually get 1 uninterupted week a year to relax.

I'm really lucky to have access to this cabin.
Never will I take it for granted.
In many ways the area reminds me of pictures of Europe.

Gotta love the first drive up the twisty's to the Lake in the CGT.
Magical.
