Shame about the S4 Rich. That's the big problem when something goes wrong with these old girls, it's almost not cost effective to repair anything when it comes to a gearbox or engine problem. On the plus side, she's served you (and a few few others beforehand) well of the past 15 years.

Ben knows how to sort a gearbox out or if not knows a company in Nottingham who can.... OR fit a manual... which he has sitting there at his unit.

You all talk as if she is confirmed for the breakers... yes the S4 has given me about... 90,000 miles of fun memories and safe driving.

Who knows Ben may have her sorted by the A.D.I

just found a good replacement gearbox for 230 quid plus delivery to Ben.

DILEMA CENTRAL NOW, call off the ADI and put the fuel money towards that and secure the box, then when I can afford to Ben can swap them over and sort out the throttle sensor that could do with a fresh one as well.Service engine in accordance with daily orders...............

its got nearly a full year MOT and taxed until end of January and 3/4 tank of fuel in it!!


OR give Ben a chance to own an S4 which he has a soft spot for anyway. He WONT be breaking it ( some of you want to see it donated to a CQ anyway so you lot you ******!!!!!!
