I'm going to stick my neck out here and say that I think you could make something good out of that car . It looks wrong because the decals are wrong, there is black detailing all over it that detracts the eyes from it's shape, which is correct. The windscreen is angled correctly, the doors are right, the rear spolier looks a tad large but it might be the black detailing rearing it's head again. It's also a left hooker so to strip out and fit a period dash it would look 100% better and it's already caged, fully. The main problem for me is the front end spoiler / lights assembly. That does look wrong but agin, correct copy grille and passat lamps and she'd look good. Just my humble opinion.

was thinking along smiler lines.

I think i would need a proper look at it in person to be sure, but it might be a 'relatively' small number of cosmet alterations to get it 'right' .

I dunno, its hard to see exactly 'what' is wrong from a photo, except that it just look a bit odd.

The wheels stand out a lot, & the paint is defo not quite correct, and the lights at the front and indicators are wrong too. spoiler seems a bit odd, but like booty says the 'shape' might not acctually be too bad.. really need a propper look at in real life.
