How heavy are the standard set of Ronals?
In other words, how much weight can be saved by fitted mag rims?

also the battery is a heavy item. You could fit one of those tiny race spec batteries.
Ditch the spare and have some of that sealant stuff a la modern day Vauxhall Zafira.

Standard 14" ronal will be the 8kg mark each i'd imagine +tyre..
Batteries are normally 12kg mark, and a race battery can be 4-5kg.

The only care you need with no spare is that recovery services can refuse help if you have a puncture and arent carrying a spare... But yes the sealing compound stuff is cracking!

I like the weights table, very handy.

Lots of good ideas on this thread too. If I were to move the battery, I'd put it under the rear seat, Ur-quattro style.

What is the actual weight difference between the steel and fibre boot lids? The steel one is pretty heavy at 15kg!
