B4 80 Avant seats FREE - Page 2

Thanks Dave, good to know from someone who knows these things inside out. Makes you wonder how they were prototyped/tested prior to production. Occasionally I've seen 80's with the basic seats for sale and you'll see those back props on the drivers seat so I did suspect it wasn't just mine. I did look into getting the s2 seats first as that would have been an easy swap, but the s2 parts prices were understandably more than my entire car was worth.
