If you're fitting one, don't forget they originally also came with a flexible exhaust section from the downpipe to the exhaust system. This took the weight and movement of the exhaust system off the manifold. Normally, the cause of the standard manifolds failing was, obviously, cracks, but that was accelerated by worn engine mounts. The Dialynx manifold needs the flexible exhaust section to protect it.
