mines on a 40mm drop and with 15" wheels looks the dogs Matt so that's my reccomend. Currently i'm on the 14" cookies and although good for originality sake I can't help but miss that extra inch on the rim

Looks fine to me, however i dont think its a good idea to have folks sitting on the bonnet to save on lowering springs... plays havoc with yer forward vision.

If you can get the old girl down 25/40mm she'd set those off beautifully...

Have a quick PM into Jay (Puglife), he's going Coilovers with a CQ at the moment...

Aternatively Spax do a 35mm drop kit for CQ's, so it's possible they still do the Type 81 kit too...

My type 81 Sport has Eibach ( no longer made.... ) and they were 40 mms.Picture in my gallery

Two or three years I was told.
Koni used to do very similar but again no longer
I was offered by the UK importers the possibility of a new set by the UK importers ( mine are rusty) at £240 per spring !!
However I'm going back to them to check, in case it was £240 a set ( perhaps something losy in the trenslation from German to English) as I have found a place in th e UK that will do a set for £175 + tax.... but they need an original front & rear spring to copy.
