Aye it was peeing it down,(it is the west of Scotland) discs are fine and not that old.

There is no recess or dimples at the back of the pads to stop the shims from sliding, just the glue.

Same thing happened to me a short while back
Mine were so called quality Pagid pads that had only been fitted a few months earlier and subject to nothing more than normal road use

So what pads will you go for now then? Ferodo DS2500 were good I believe.
I think I will try those on my 90q for the next track session as I killed my brand new clutch last summer by downshifting due to underpowered brakes.

Good question,
Any other suggestions ? I may see if EBC do some normal compound pads, the cq is a bit lighter now so not too bothered about a 'track pad'

I'm finding DS2500 very reliable. Got them on all four corners. Good when cold, even better when warmed up.

A lot of Skoda VRS boys vouch for the DS2500's but say they need using otherwise they tend to squeel if you know what I mean. So every once in a while use them with force..

I know what you mean with that. The car they will be going on is rarely being used if at all. But when used it is for fun driving and at least one trackday this summer. Think I'll try the DS2500.
