oh yes ismmo, it was said that when austin rover pulled out of rallying, and the 6r4 was not been used again in 1987 you could buy one for 15k only, it was said in the press that mr davenport had a few shipped in container out to south africa for his own use, i do not know what happen to them but all interesting

Anyone ever rep'd an S4 or T16?

And then there's the Tony Pond SD1...

Any pics of any reps?, I'd love to see what some of the other clubs are up too...

PS - I'd probably not be able to tell if a 6R4 was a rep, if it was done as well as Nige's (Coxy's) Sanyo quattro. It's only my knowledge of the (quattros) cars that makes it evident.
Yeah you would, there were two specs of 'original' 6R4's the Clubman spec and the full works one we all know.

yes tarka i used the car several times both as course open car in eypnt stsages rally but mostly on the rallydays meeting in 2003,04,05,06,07, sold it in 2007 ,i had to put the reg plate job 705w on it put the triumph knobs and i use the word knobs in the right context did not like the car as i had most of the paper for the real reg oom 525r, , it was also used by brian culcuth in the 100 years of british rally car and bmc competion works in silverstone and the car was seen regular around the place, i wa salso invoved with my m8 kelvin lambert in all bob fowden stuff , eg his tr7 v8 oom 512r and his rover sdi for rallying, as well
