Wow where to start! Firstly dragging up a thread over a year old?!

James, you had every opportunity to view and test drive the car before purchasing, we stood in your garage for an hour or more with the bonnet up, I invited you to put it up on ramps and have a good poke around (which you didn't, just for the audience), you were happy with what you were buying and paid £1000 less than the advertised price. I told you about every problem on that car I was aware of in detail, including the dash lights not working and that kill switch packing up the day before, you didn't seem phased until you (by your own admission) fucked the rev counter soon after purchase whilst swapping the clocks, which I imagine is what lead to your pulling the dash out. I can't comment of the state of anything behind it as I never had it out myself.

The milk bottle tops were there when I bought it, never really questioned it, the Barclays pen was me, if it were any other tube/pipe joiner would it have been a problem? If it works, it works, I'm sorry that the fact the hollow tube used to join 2 hoses together was not up to your standards.

If you were that unhappy with it, the logical thing to do would have been to break it and recoup the cost, you could have got 75%+ of your money back with just the contents of the engine bay.

I drove that car Cornwall>Nottingham and back half a dozen times and used it regularly around Cornwall and it never skipped a beat, so how you managed to pretty much write it off overnight I don't know. I'm glad you are sorting it out though, good luck with it.

Nextly, Mark (Vorsprung now you've learnt that it is Vorsprung and not Voursch Sprung Dirch, genius) - You've had an axe to grind ever since I asked you about those rad hoses, so let me just screen shot those unsavoury cocky emails of mine

Maybe I am deluded but to me they don't look that abusive from my end?

£180 for 6 radiator hoses and 2 bits of trim from a car worth £500 is a mental price, I'm absolutely thrilled to bits for you that you managed to sell them, now if you could kindly stop following me around forums trying to drag my name through the mud, get the **** over it and grow up, that'd be great.

Those kind of parts usually are given away for 7 times less price then 180gbp, I have had a lot of these engines for breaking and have given away for free all of those little things. I guess that's why I am not a billionaire.

Just sick price not to say anymore.

Apparently if you spray them with silicone trim spray/WD40 before you take pictures they're worth 10x more

Careful though, no need to be so abusive, you might cause offense and start a lifelong grudge

Are dear fellow, you are as insulant as ever never failing to pick people up over the most trivial of nonsense i.e. my user name when it suits you.I'm happy for you that it gives you such pleasure. 90 2.3 20V's are worth more than £500 i think you will find and as we all know the spare part are always worth more in the case of a 7A 20v as the running gear and engines are sort after. I wish it were different but i am always fair with any price i have charged,my packaging is of very high order to make sure the item arrives perfect and customers/friends are always very happy. Whats your eBay account looking like? Mines 100% squeaky clean pal! I don't like selling stuff, it became necessary and i'm not running a business,it's all part of being an Audiholic/enthusiast like most i know on here and S2 forum i.e. de rigueur.

I can assure you i have absolutely no desire to follow your stench from forum to forum,i am on only 2 anyway, as i find you far too repugnant and offensive. I have avoided you completely up until i interjected in this thread in sympathy with "rallyejames" as i felt the way you dealt with me and your superb way of wriggling out of any sort of responsibility is akin to a Pirate and others should know what they are getting involved with.

I see you have shown a screen shot that manipulates to the unknowing and makes you look better than i have described.Very devious of you and what i would expect anyway! You failed to select the screen shot where i offered you all 6 hoses which were as new extreme low mileage some NLA, 1 x 7A main radiator and the 2 shrouds you wanted which included delivery!! Get your facts right!!

One very happy customer, .. .. .. and if i knew how to do a screen shot i would, so copy and paste will have to do.

Mark,

Hose arrive just now, as you rightly said, minty condition! Thank you so much, really got me out of a hole, and thank you for getting it out to me so quickly.

Cheers,

Pete.

The people i have dealt with have all been very happy because i treat people as i would like to be treated. Unfortunately this isn't always reciprocated which is disappointing but thats the world we live in. :roll eyes:

Like I said, I had picked up 2 with MOT's for less previously. Besides, the parts I needed aren't even 20v specific so you should start snatching up all those £300-400 10v's, the radiators are worth their weight in gold!

That's not true at all, you've had a vendetta on S2 Forum ever since

And

There you go, the only other message involved in the matter, it just wasn't in a neat string of quotes like the other screenshot. Your point was that my messages were aggressive and unsavoury though, so I screen shotted all relevant posts already?

Also, I beg your pardon I misread that it was for the rad as well but as they are £60 brand new that still leaves your valuation of 6x 25 year old radiator hoses and a couple of bits of trim from a £500 car at, at least £120...

I cannot believe I'm even entertaining your idiotic argument nearly TWO YEARS after I declined your offer Move on!
