its 1985

I think Nigels is from a later coupe..

1983 Golf GTI track weapon
1977 Scirocco G60
1968 Sand Rail
2006 A4 2.0 TDI Avant = DEAD due to oil pump failure.. then alive.. then DEAD due to cam belt tensioner failure! and ALIVE again!!!

just checked back and they are a different style. The area where you press on the switch is a round indent about the size of a 5p on the Typ 85 80, well they are on mine and mines a 1986.

I'll have a look on the box tomorrow as Nige's ur was a 1984 and I've got the switches from that in a box at work.

was that one out of your wr? if so, I'm presume the other ones in the box are the same shape.

I not to sure to be honest

It should be from the quattro, but I did have some from other coupes knocking around but I would of thought that all the quattro and coupes would of had the same switch gear

Also found in any facelifted Coupe, Coupe Quattro 1985 or URQ 1984 model year onwards.
