Well, you're wrong. There are three positions of boot lock - one, where condition of boot lock depends on central lock, one, where boot is locked regardless if central lock is open or not, and third, when it is unlocked with key in.

In any case, you should begin by inspecting rubber line which connects drivers door with the rest and the one which connects boot lid with the rest.
