I've alays thought they were the same as the passat/golf of the same era... You could be right about the screw fixing... But it'd be a new one on me....

On B2 passat door handles must be identical - don't forget it's the same Audi, only with VW badge

I've got a complete passenger side rear door you can have, had it of Jay (username puglife on here). I don't need it now, He still had the other 3 complete in his shed aswell when I fetched this 1, he may still have them but it was about 8 months ago.

www.vagparts.com can get rear handles, genuine from Audi in Germany.

£35 each though. I ordered one, cos despite haveing a whole spares car, the rear right door handle is knackered. My 80CL has failed the MoT on the rear right handle.

I did just buy the left rear from ebay for about £7 though, new old stock.

I might buy a couple of the front handles from Poland and see what they are like, it's worth a try.

I think I have it sorted now, I have ordered one off the guy who is breaking the green 90 in Ireland, but thanks for that.

I too ordered one of the Polish ones, fitted it but I dont think its all that clever to be honest, doesnt seem to fit into place properley. But let me know what you think, see if thats just me! lol

Sprin - Sorry I just read your reply, do you still have the door? And what colour is it?
